In a time of rapid change, when everything that once seemed certain seems entirely up for grabs, we might feel lost, adrift, anxious, angry–even scared. More than ever, we need–and young Muslims certainly need–anchoring. This class will introduce us to what Muslims believe human beings are, why we’re special, and how to live meaningful, purposeful, dignified lives. All are welcome. The program begins after sundown prayer at the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and ends with nighttime prayers (9-10:15pm).
